Australian Test captain Pat Cummins, who came to India for the Border-Gavaskar Test series, has returned to his country. According to the information, there are indications that he has returned to Australia due to his mother's health becoming serious. Now in the third Test match of the series, Steve Smith has been made the captain of the team in place of Cummins. Smith was also vice-captain in Australia's Test team.

Australia have lost the first two matches of the Border-Gavaskar Test series. India beat Australia by an innings and 132 runs in the first Test match played in Nagpur. While in Delhi, Team India won by 6 wickets. The third match of the series will now be played in Indore between March 1 and March 5.

Starc and Green are also difficult to play
