India dominate ICC Test rankings, 2 players enter top-5 with 1 new player

ICC has announced the new Test rankings today. The recent rankings have seen an influx of Indian players. Three players of the Indian team have been included in the top 5 in the all-rounder ranking. When we talk about the ranking of bowlers, Indian players have been covered in this ranking as well. Two Indian players have made their place known in the batting rankings.

Jadeja No.1 in Tests

Three Indian players are included in the top 5 of the ICC all-rounder rankings. Ravindra Jadeja has become the number-1 Test all-rounder, followed by Ravichandran Ashwin. The new entry in this list is Akshar Patel and he is at number five in this ranking. Akshar batted tremendously in the Border Gavaskar Trophy.

James Anderson became the number-1 bowler

After the Test played in Delhi, the ranking of the bowlers has also changed. Australian cricket team captain Pat Cummins is no longer the number-1 bowler in the world in Tests, his place has been taken by England's James Anderson. Anderson had a great performance against New Zealand. Indian team's formidable spinner R. Ashwin has benefited and is now number two in the Test rankings. While Jasprit Bumrah is always number five. The batting rankings remain the same as before and Indian team player Rishabh Pant remains at number-6 and Rohit Sharma at number-7.
