India's brilliant win in Delhi Test, Jadeja named player of the match

The Indian team has won the second match of the Test series between India and Australia by six wickets. In this match, Ravindra Jadeja was declared the player of the match due to his brilliant performance. Ravindra Jadeja took 3 wickets in Australia's first innings and 7 wickets in the second innings. With this, India has taken an unbeaten 2-0 lead in the four-match series. In this match, Australia scored 263 runs in the first innings. In response, India scored 262 runs. The Australian team was bundled out for 113 runs in the second innings and set a target of 115 runs against India. Team India achieved this feat by losing four wickets on the third day itself.

Australia won the toss and decided to bat first

Australia won the toss and elected to bat first and played a better game than Nagpur. Australia's batsmen tried to score runs and scored 263 runs batting with a positive attitude. Half-centuries from Usman Khawaja and Peter Handscomb helped Australia reach a decent total. For India, Shami took four wickets and Ashwin-Jadeja took three wickets each. In reply, the Indian team got off to a rough start and seemed to be trailing in the first innings, but Ashwin-Akshar brought India back into the match with a century partnership. Both added 114 runs for the eighth wicket. In the end, Australia got a lead of just one run in the first innings. Akshar scored a brilliant half-century for India. Along with this, Virat Kohli and Ashwin also played useful innings. Lyon took five wickets from Australia. Murphy-Kuhmann got two wickets each.

Australia got off to a good start in the second innings as well and looked in good shape at one stage losing one wicket for 65 runs, but from the start of the third day, Australia lost wickets at regular intervals and the whole team was bundled out for 113 runs. Based on a one-run lead in the first innings, India got a target of 115 runs, which Team India achieved with the loss of four wickets. With this, India has taken an unbeaten 2-0 lead in the four-match series. As soon as they win the next match, the Indian team will secure their place in the final of the World Test Championship.
