Kohli's unique feat in the Delhi Test broke Sachin Tendulkar's record

The second Test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy being played between India and Australia has been in Delhi's Arun Jaitley ground. As Virat Kohli completed 12 runs during India's second innings in this match, he became the 6th player in the world to score 25 thousand runs in international cricket.

Virat Kohli broke Sachin's record

Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli has touched another record in his international career during the second Test match being played against Australia in Delhi. He became the 6th international player to reach the 25,000 run mark in international cricket when he scored 12 runs during India's second innings in the Delhi Test. With this, Kohli has become the second Indian player. Apart from this, he has also broken the record of Sachin Tendulkar. Virat Kohli has completed 25 thousand runs in less innings than Sachin. Sachin Tendulkar completed 25 thousand international runs in his 577th innings while Virat Kohli touched this mark in just 549 innings.

A brilliant performance by Kohli in all three formats

Kohli has completed his 25 thousand runs in international cricket by facing 31313 balls. After making his debut for the Indian team in the year 2008, Kohli has performed brilliantly in all three formats of cricket. Kohli became the fastest batsman to complete 11 thousand runs in ODIs. Along with this, 27 centuries are also registered in his name in Test cricket. Apart from this, he is also ranked number one in the world for the most international centuries.
