Team India announcement for ODI series against Australia, this player got a chance after 10 years

The Indian team for the ODI series against Australia (INDvsAUS) has been announced. After the completion of the Test series, the ODI series between the two teams will begin from March 17. The first match of the three-match series will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Captain Rohit Sharma will not be able to play in the first match. BCCI stated that Rohit will not be able to play the first match of the series due to family reasons. Hardik Pandya will be the captain in place of Rohit.

Jaydev Undkat got a chance

Indian team bowler Jaydev Undakatan last played an ODI for India in 2013, now after 10 years he may get a place in the team again. He may get a chance to play in this format after 10 years. Left arm fast bowler Undkat has played 7 ODIs for India, taking 8 wickets. Besides, Ravindra Jadeja has also been included in the team. Jadeja was injured in the Asia Cup and has since returned to international cricket only from the Test series against Australia. Iyer, who was out of the New Zealand series due to injury, has also been included in the squad.

Inclusion of 18 players in ODIs

A squad of 18 players has been announced for the 3-match series. India is at the top in the ODI rankings as well as Tests and T20s. If Rohit Sharma does not play the first ODI, then Ishan Kishan can be included in the playing eleven in his place. After the first match of the ODI series in Mumbai on March 17, the second match will be played in Visakhapatnam on March 19. Rohit will join the team from this match. The last match of the series will be played on March 22 at the M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
