Umesh Yadav's father passes away at the age of 74: Tilak Yadav fulfilled all his son's dreams despite his small job

However, Tilak Yadav, father of Indian team fast bowler Umesh Yadav, passed away before this match. Born in Uttar Pradesh, Umesh's father Tilak Yadav has worked hard to bring his son forward. Father Tilak Yadav made his son an international cricketer by working in a coal mine.

Tilak Yadav left no stone unturned to fulfill his son's dreams

While Umesh Yadav is included in Team India, there is sad news in the meantime. If reports are to be believed, Umesh will return to Nagpur. It is to be mentioned that father Tilak Yadav has played a major role in making Umesh Yadav an international cricketer. Despite having a small job, he left no stone unturned to fulfill his son's dreams.

Father wanted his son to do government job

He came to Nagpur because of a job in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. He wanted his son to do a government job like him, but fate had something else in store for him. Umesh Yadav also tried his best to fulfill his father's dreams, but it didn't happen. The son wanted to become a cricketer. Umesh started playing cricket and was included in the Vidarbha cricket team for domestic tournaments. Umesh bowled fast and defeated good cricketers.

Umesh Yadav's ODI debut in 2010

A brilliant performance earned Umesh an opportunity to make his ODI debut against Zimbabwe in 2010. A year later, Umesh Yadav made his Test debut against West Indies in Delhi in 2011. While playing the first match of his T20 international career against Sri Lanka in 2012. He has taken 165 wickets in 54 Tests, 106 wickets in 75 ODIs and 12 wickets in 9 T20Is. He last played a Test in December 2022 against Bangladesh at Mirpur.
