Spectators gifted thousands of expensive toys-scarfs
Turkish news agency Anadolu reported that Sunday's match between Besiktas and Antalyaspor at Vodafone Park in Istanbul was stopped after 4 minutes and 17 seconds in memory of the earthquake that hit Turkey's southern region three weeks ago. Meanwhile, the spectators who came to watch the match showered thousands of expensive toys and scarfs on the football ground. Players and staff reached the pitch to collect these toys. Toys donated by viewers will be sent to children affected by the earthquake. According to a report, at least 44 thousand 374 people have died in two earthquakes in southern Turkey on February 6.
