Corona cases are increasing in the country, central government is on alert mode: 8 states have been notified by writing a letter

Corona cases are once again increasing rapidly in India. According to the statistics released by the Ministry of Health on Friday, 11 thousand 692 new cases of Corona have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. So till now the number of active cases in the country has reached more than 66 thousand. Keeping in mind the Corona crisis, the central government has also become cautious. Amid rising cases of Corona, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written to 8 states... He has given suggestions to increase surveillance, monitor ILI and SATI patients, conduct adequate number of Corona testing, examine samples sent for genome sequencing and increase hospital facilities.

64 districts of 8 states have positivity rate above 10 percent

The positivity rate has been revealed to be more than 10 percent in 64 districts of 8 states of the country. Among these 8 states are Uttar Pradesh (1 district with positivity rate above 10 percent), Tamil Nadu (11 districts with positivity rate above 10 percent), Rajasthan (6 districts with positivity rate above 10 percent), Maharashtra (8 districts with positivity rate above 10 percent), Kerala ( 14 districts with positivity rate above 10 per cent), Karnataka-Haryana (12 districts with positivity rate above 10 per cent) and Delhi (11 districts with positivity rate above 10 per cent).

The rate of infection spread increased

According to the latest figures, the daily infection rate in India has reached 5.46 percent. At present, 66,170 people affected by corona are being treated in the country, which is 0.15 percent of the total cases. The recovery rate of patients in India is 98.67 percent. A total of 4,48,69,68 people have recovered from corona in the country so far, while the death rate due to corona is 1.18 percent. According to the website of the Ministry of Health, 220.66 crore people have been vaccinated under the nationwide vaccination campaign in India so far.

The number of corona cases has crossed 4 crore

It is to be mentioned that on 7th August-2020, the number of corona patients in India crossed 20 lakhs, on 23rd August-2020 it crossed 30 lakhs and on 5th September-2020 it crossed 40 lakhs. The total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16-September-2020, 60 lakh on 28-September-2020, 70 lakh on 11-October-2020, 80 lakh on 29-October-2020 and 90 lakh on 20-November. On 19-Dec-2020 the number of cases in the country crossed one crore, on 4-May-2021 the number of patients crossed 2 crore and on 23-Jun-2021 the number of patients crossed 3 crore. Last year, on January 25, the total cases of Corona crossed 4 crores.
