The 2022 IPL was a blur for Virat Kohli but Tata IPL 2023 has started with Kohli as the king. King Kohli's fourth half-century came in RCB's sixth match of the season against Punjab today in the IPL and on the opposite side, Faf du Plessis, who came in as an impact player today, also scored a half-century despite injury to put Bangalore in a strong position.

Both shared 137 runs for the first wicket. At the end of 20 overs, the team score is 174/4.
