In the final match of IPL 2023, Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans by five wickets to become champions for the fifth time in IPL. However, the Chennai team won the match by scoring 171 runs for 5 wickets and captured the title. Devon Conway top scored 47 off 25 balls for Chennai. In yesterday's final, Chennai needed 10 runs off the last two balls to win. Star finisher Ravindra Jadeja came at number-7 after Dhoni in the match. Mohit Sharma bowled brilliantly and put the Chennai team under pressure. He conceded just three runs off the first four balls. After this, Ravindra Jadeja hit sixes and fours to make Chennai champions for the fifth time. In this match, Dhoni was dismissed in the first ball. In this situation, someone else had to take on the responsibility of finishing the match and Jadeja showed that he has learned from playing with Dhoni for a decade. Jadeja was truly the hero of the match who turned the entire match on the last 2 balls.
