Ahead of the final match of IPL 2023, heavy rain in Ahmedabad caused disappointment among cricket fans. Rain also started its explosive innings within minutes of the start of the match due to which the match was stopped. The question is whether the match will be played today or not.
The final match of IPL can start by 9 pm
According to the rules, if the match is still played till 9.35 pm today, then the match can be played with full overs i.e. 20 overs. Which means that the match is still likely to be played late at night till 9.35 pm. The rain that started in Ahmedabad by 8 pm tonight has slowed down, so hopefully the IPL final match can start by 9 pm.

However, rain is forecast for the next three hours in Ahmedabad, so now it is completely up to the weather to decide whether today's match will be played or not. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with heavy winds in cities including Banaskantha, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Mahisagar, Dahod, Bhavnagar, Ahmedabad, Anand, Aravalli, Bharuch, Patan and Vadodara in the state today.
