Indian women's golfer Deeksha wins second career Ladies European Tour title

Indian women's golfer Diksha Dagar won her second Ladies European Tour title with a superb performance. The 22-year-old left-handed player Deeksha had earlier won the LET title in 2019. Diksha Dagar hails from Jhajjar in Haryana. He was also part of the victorious team in the Aramco Team Series.

He scored 69 in the final round

Diksha Dagar has so far finished in the top ten nine times apart from those two individual titles. Of which he has done so four times this season. Diksha started the day on Sunday with a five shot lead. He scored 69 in the final round and during this time he made a total of 13 birdies in three rounds. He only missed the first and last shot. Deeksha was up against Thailand's Trichet but started the final day with a nine shot lead. Diksha was in excellent rhythm on Sunday. Trichet finished second while Celine Herbin of France finished third. The Royal Biron Club had a good performance this week despite the strong wind. She finished fourth here in 2021.

After Aditi, the country's second daughter to win the tour

Diksha is the second woman golfer from India to win a title on the LET Tour. Before this, Aditi Ashok won the Indian Open in 2016. Diksha is also the second Indian to win this year. Aditi won the Magical Kenya Ladies title this season. Deeksha won her first title in the form of the South African Open in March 2019 and now she has won her second title after four years, three months and 11 days. Deeksha finished joint sixth in Belgium Ladies this year. She finished joint eighth at the Helsingborg Ladies Open and joint third at the Emundi German Masters last week.

Deaf also won two medals at the Olympics, including a gold

Diksha has won medals twice in the Deaf Olympics. He won silver medal in 2017 and gold medal in 2021. She then competed in the Tokyo Olympics, becoming the first golfer to compete in both the Deaf Olympics and the Deaf Olympics. Apart from this, he also participated in the 2018 Asian Games.
