So the BCCI has started the work of renovating the stadiums. BCCI will carry out renovation work in around 7 stadiums. According to a report BCCI will give Rs 50 crore each for this improvement. The list includes everything from Kolkata's Eden Gardens to Lucknow's Atal Vihari Bajpayee Stadium.

Which stadium will be upgraded?

BCCI to install new floodlights at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Corpot box will also be installed in this stadium. The dressing room of Kolkata's Eden Gardens Stadium will be upgraded. A new outfield is being prepared at Dharamsala. Roofing work will be done at the stadium in Pune. Seats and toilets will be repaired at Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium. The ticket system will also be upgraded here. Pitch work is being done at the stadium in Lucknow. Pitch work will also be done in Chennai. LED lights will be installed along with it.

BCCI is paying more attention to Lucknow stadium

According to reports, BCCI is paying special attention to Lucknow's Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Vihari Bajpayee Stadium. IPL matches were played here. These matches were low scoring. Due to which the pitch was criticized. That is why special attention is being given here now. 11 new pitches have been prepared in the stadium. New grass has also been planted on the land. The match between India and England will be played here on October 29. A total of 5 matches of World Cup 2023 will be played here. Along with India-England, the match will be played between Australia-South Africa, Australia and Qualifier 2 teams.
