- Government is trying to break our unity by giving direct entry to Asian Games to Pahals: Sakshi Malik

New delhi date. 22 July 2023, Saturday

Pahlewan Sakshi Malik said that he never asked the government for permission in the trial. He alleged that the government is trying to break our unity by giving direct entry to the pioneers in the Asian Games.

The government gave concessions of its own free will

The witness said, "We requested the committee to postpone our trials after August 10 as we could not take the training." We were assured of doing the trials later so we went abroad for training.

Refusal of the witness

A few days ago I received a call from the government that we are giving direct entry to Bajrang and Vinesh in the Asian Games. If you also match, you will also get an exemption from the trial. But I refused. The petitioner's counsel argued that Phogat and Punia were not appointed as per concession policy. The Delhi High Court has ordered to provide information about the availability of both the players.
