According to a report, the Yo-Yo Test scores shared by Virat Kohli on his Instagram story and other social media handles yesterday have irked the BCCI top brass. According to reports, within an hour of Virat Kohli sharing this secret information, the Indian team management had announced strict guidelines for all Indian cricketers. However this was said verbally. This Instagram story of Virat went viral in no time. Sources report that BCCI's top management had given strict instructions to cricketers not to share confidential information like the yo-yo test.
Warning to all cricketers including Virat
BCCI may take action on public sharing of such information. As soon as Virat shared the score of the Yo-Yo Test, the BCCI swung into action and asked cricketers to refrain from sharing such confidential information, warning that by doing so you could be guilty of breaching your contract. The report quoted a BCCI official as saying that the cricketers have been told verbally that they should not share information on such confidential matters on social media platforms. He can share training photos but sharing scores may be a breach of contract.
Rohit, Virat and Hardik passed the yo-yo test
Indian team will start their campaign in Asia Cup 2023 against Pakistan on 2nd September. Before this, all the players are participating in a 6-day camp at Bengaluru. On the first day of the camp, Indian captain Rohit Sharma, vice-captain Hardik Pandya and star batsman Virat Kohli underwent the yo-yo test in which all three players passed successfully, but Virat Kohli got into trouble after sharing the information of the yo-yo test.
