Asian Games 2023: The Air Rifle team has created history on the second day. India's men's team won its maiden gold in the 10m air rifle event with a brilliant performance. Apart from this, bronze has also been obtained in rowing.
India has won seven medals so far
On the second day today, the trio of Aishwary Tomar, Rudranksh Patil and Divyansh Panwar won the gold medal in men's air rifle event. Earlier, India had won five medals on the first day. The first medal came in shooting when Mehuli Ghosh, Ashi Chowksi and Ramita won silver in the women's 10m air rifle team event. Apart from this, India also won two silver and one bronze medal in rowing. Later, Ramita Jindal won bronze for India in women's 10m air rifle. India has so far won seven medals in Asian Games 2023.
Also won bronze in rowing event
Today, after the air rifle team won the gold medal, the rowing team has given India its seventh medal. In the men's rowing team event, Jaswinder Singh, Bheem Singh, Punit Kumar and Ashish clocked 6:10.81. The Indian team finished third and captured the bronze medal.
