All 10 teams have already announced their squads for the tournament. Akshar out of World Cup, Ashwin's entry

R.Ashwin has been included in the team in place of all-rounder Akshar Patel. Recently, Ashwin was given an opportunity in the ODI series against Australia, where he performed brilliantly. While Akshar Patel could not get fit till the last ODI of the series.

Meanwhile, the Indian team has to play 2 practice matches before the World Cup. Team India's first practice match will be played on September 30 against England in Guwahati. For this, the entire team including Ashwin has reached Guwahati.

'World Cup Festival' for 45 days

This time in World Cup 2023, 48 matches will be played in 45 days, for which 10 venues have been decided. The first match of the Indian team will be against Australia on October 8 in Chennai. The first semi-final will be played in Mumbai on November 15, while the second semi-final will be played in Kolkata on November 16. The final match will be played in Ahmedabad on November 19, while November 20 is the reserve day.

Team India reached Guwahati before the practice match

All the warm-up matches before the World Cup will be played at three venues, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram and Hyderabad. The Indian team will play another practice match against the Netherlands on October 3, which will be played at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.
