Angad Bedi Wins Gold Medal : Bollywood actor Angad Bedi participated in the 400m race at the Open International Masters 2023 Athletics Championship organized in Dubai in honor of his father Bishan Singh Bedi. He also won a gold medal in this race. Angad started his career in international sports by winning a gold medal. Along with Angad's family, his fans are also feeling proud of him.
He dedicated his gold medal to his father
Angad Bedi dedicated the gold medal he won in the 400m race to his father Bishan Singh Bedi. He posted on his social media handle and wrote, 'This win is dedicated to my father. He always said keep your head down and answer people with your work. I have always been inspired by this. I did this race because I think my father would have wanted it. This is my way of honoring him and his legacy.'
Bishan Singh Bedi passed away on October 23
Former Indian cricket team veteran spinner Bishan Singh Bedi died on October 23. He said goodbye to the world at the age of 77. He was part of the famous spin bowling quartet (Bedi, Prasanna, Chandrasekhar, Raghavan) in the 1970s. He also captained India in 22 Test matches. He took 266 wickets in 67 Test matches. Apart from this he took 1560 wickets in first class cricket.
