Fans demanded to ban Hardik Pandya : Indian cricket team's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has left his IPL franchise Gujarat Titans and joined Mumbai Indians. For a long time there were speculations that Hardik Pandya might leave Gujarat and join the Mumbai team. Now Hardik's inclusion in the Mumbai team has made fans furious. Fans are so angry that they have even demanded that Hardik be banned from the IPL.
There is a demand to ban Hardik from IPL 2024

But the question here is why the fans are so upset with Hardik's inclusion in the Mumbai Indians team. The answer is that as per the rules of IPL no player can ask any franchise to be included in his team. One such case was seen when India's star player Ravindra Jadeja was banned in 2010 for not signing a contract renewal with Rajasthan Royals and instead signed with Mumbai Indians.
Will action be taken against Hardik Pandya?
Fans are demanding that Hardik Pandya should also be banned from IPL citing the example of Ravindra Jadeja. Fans are saying that when Jadeja was banned then why Pandya was not banned. Fans are also advising Gujarat Titans to complain to BCCI and ban Hardik Pandya. Now it remains to be seen whether any action is actually taken against Hardik Pandya.
