In the Centurion Test match, India lost against South Africa by an innings and 32 runs. After this humiliating defeat, there has been a big change in the Indian team for the second Test match.

BCCI has included fast bowler Awesh Khan for the second Test match. Awesh Khan has replaced Mohammed Shami. Shami was ruled out of the South Africa series due to injury. Awesh Khan has taken 27 wickets in eight ODIs and 19 T20Is for India. Avashe has not played any test match till now.
