IND vs SA 1st Test KL Rahul Addresses Online Abuse : The first Test of the 2-match Test series between India and South Africa is being played at Centurion. Indian team's wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul scored a brilliant century in the first match. He scored 101 runs off 137 balls with the help of 14 fours and 4 sixes against South Africa. Everyone is praising him after this brilliant innings. However, Rahul's pain was revealed in the press conference after the match. He said that today people are praising me but three months ago people were slandering me.
Rahul was trolled on social media
The year 2023 has been very difficult for KL Rahul. Earlier in the year, he was dropped from the T20 squad due to poor form. He then suffered an injury during IPL 2023, due to which he missed several matches, including the World Test Championship. Meanwhile, KL Rahul was being trolled a lot on social media.
KL Rahul's pain overflowed
On dealing with the things said about him, Rahul said, 'This is very difficult. You have your own personality and characteristics. All these are challenged when you play international cricket. As a person, as a cricketer you are challenged every day, every moment.'
'Staying away from such things is good for both your game and your mindset'
Rahul further said, 'Today I have scored a century and people are praising me. Three-four months ago, people were bashing me on social media. It's part of the game, but I can't say that these things don't affect you. The sooner you realize that getting away from this is good for your game and your mindset, the better.'
