AUS Open 2024: Australian Open 2024 has great news for Indian tennis fans. Veteran Indian player Rohan Bopanna has won the men's doubles award along with his Australian partner Matthew Ebden. In the final at Melbourne Park on 27 January, the second-seeded pair of Rohan-Ebden defeated Simone Bolelli and Andre Vavasori of Italy 7–6 (0), 7–5.

Bopanna broke the world record of this player

43-year-old Rohan Bopanna has become the oldest male player to win a Grand Slam (Open Era). The record was previously held by Jean-Julien Roger of the Netherlands, who partnered Marcelo Arevola to win the men's doubles title at the 2022 French Open at the age of 40 years and nine months. In the final match, the Italian players gave Bopanna-Ebden an overwhelming fight.
