After this victory, the Indian team is being appreciated all over the world. Nasir Hussain stated the reason for the defeat
Nasir Hussain said, “The Indian team deserves all the credit it is getting after the win. I think you have to give credit to India. This team has not only ability but also mental strength. The way the hosts have won yet another series despite the absence of many key players, that and their record is very impressive."
There is no shame in losing to the Indian team - Nasir Hussain
The former captain of the England team said, “England should not be disheartened by this defeat and should fully concentrate on playing their best game. There is no shame in losing to this Indian team, but like any other series or Test you have to identify the areas where the match slipped out of your hands."
“Stay on the pitch or attack”
Explaining the reason for the defeat, Nasir Hussain said, “On the third day of the match, the lead which could have been 100 runs was reduced to 46 runs and in the third innings you didn't even know whether you want to stay on the pitch or attack. England batted 26 overs and lost 5 wickets for 35 runs. This was a little over one run per over. This is enough to show that they didn't know whether to stay on the pitch or attack."
