Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer's futures in jeopardy, both omitted from BCCI's annual contract

BCCI Annual Contract List: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the annual contract. In which Ishaan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer have got a big blow. They have been shown the way out. It is said that, despite constant warnings, these two players ignored the Ranji Trophy.

List of BCCI Central Contract Players (October 2023 to September 2024)

Grade A+

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja

Grade A

R. Ashwin, Mohammad Shami, Mohammad Siraj, K.L. Rahul, Shubman Gill and Hardik Pandya

Grade B

Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Kuldeep Yadav, Akshar Patel and Yashshwi Jaiswal

Grade C

Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma, Rituraj Gaikwad, Shardul Thakur, Shivam Dubey, Ravi Bishnoi, Jitesh Sharma, Washington Sundar, Mukesh Kumar, Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh, K.S. Bharat, the famous Krishna, Awesh Khan and Rajat Patidar.

Akash Deep, Vijaykumar Visak, Umran Malik, Yash Dayal and Vidwat Kaverappa have been included in the fast bowling contract.

These players have been excluded from their contracts

In this previous contract, Shreyas was placed in B category and Ishaan in C category. Then Shreyas got an annual salary of Rs. Three and Ishan Rs. One crore rupees were received, who suffered losses. Apart from these two, Rishabh Pant and Akshar Patel have suffered losses in that grade.

Both of these have been placed in B category. While Cheteshwar Pujara was eliminated from B category. Umesh Yadav, Shikhar Dhawan, Deepak Hooda and Yujvendra Chahal have been omitted from the C category. Along with this, Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma, Rituraj Gaekwad, Shivam Dubey, Ravi Bishnoi, Jitesh Sharma, Mukesh Kumar, Hirshan Krishna, Avesh Khan and Rajat Patidar have got place in C category.

Let us tell you that there are four categories in the BCCI contract list. A plus (A+) category Rs. seven crores, A in Rs. 5 crore, in B Rs. three crores and in the lowest C category Rs. Gets one crore. All these categories also have some rules to include the players. A+ houses players who play in all three formats (Test, ODI and T20).
