The first event in cricket history! Australia's Hazelwood-Green's record against New Zealand

Australian all-rounder Cameron Green and fast bowler specialist Josh Hazlewood have created a unique record against New Zealand. The pair put on 116 runs for Australia's 10th wicket in Test cricket. This is the record for the largest partnership against New Zealand, while it is the fourth largest partnership for Australia.

At one point Australia were in trouble and then the Green-Hazelwood duo put on 116 runs for the 10th wicket on the second day of the Wellington Test. Cameron Greene and Josh Hazlewood combined for the 10th wicket against New Zealand in Brisbane in 2004 by Jason Gillespie and Glenn McGrath. Broke the record of partnership of 114 runs. This was Australia's 10th wicket partnership of 100 runs or more in Test cricket.

The defending champions of the ICC World Test Championship did not get off to a better start in this match but the team managed to post a total of 383 runs in their first innings. This was Green's innings of 174 runs. That took Australia to a strong total. The young all-rounder played a patient innings to bring up his second Test century in the final over of the day.

Along with Hazlewood, he took an aggressive stance. This was Green's second century in Test cricket. Before this, he played an innings of 114 runs for Australia against India in Ahmedabad last year.
