After Afridi, another cricketer corona, Bangladesh's Musharraf Murtaza positive

Former Bangladesh captain Musharraf Murtaza has contracted COVID-19. He is the second major cricketer to be hit by the Cora virus after former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi.

Afridi was infected with the deadly virus last week. Murtaza's health has been deteriorating for the past few days and he was tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday, which he is currently home quarantine.

Murtaza bin Murtaza, Murtaza's younger brother, said in an interview: "He has had a fever for two days. His Covid-19 test was done on Friday, the result of which we got today (Saturday).

He has been found to be positive and is quarantined at his home in Dhaka. Please pray for them. According to local media, some members of Murtaza's family were found to be infected with the disease.

Murtuza is a Member of Parliament, and was campaigning for relief during the epidemic. In addition to Murtuza, we have seen former Bangladesh cricketer Nafees Iqbal Korona, the elder brother of ODI team captain Tamim Iqbal, positive. Nafees Iqbal started playing for Bangladesh in 2003, but dropped out of the national team after 2008.
