Legendary Swiss tennis star Roger Federer has announced that he will not take part in any tournament this season due to injury. Federer is suffering from a right knee injury and is now undergoing surgery. The tennis world is currently on hold due to the Kovid-12 epidemic. The Wimbledon Grand Slam Championship, played on Federer's favorite grass court, has been postponed this year. However, there are two major Grand Slam tournaments left, the US Open and the French Open.
Federer, who has won 20 Grand Slam championships, underwent surgery in February. However, the breakthrough came just a few weeks ago. Like the 2013 season, I now have to focus on getting fit.
Federer, 6, suffered a knee injury in 2012 and has won two Grand Slam titles since recovering. ATP has postponed all its tournaments until the end of July. The organizers of the US Open are preparing to start the Grand Slam Championship as per the schedule scheduled for August 31. The postponed French Open is expected to start on September 30.
