IND vs AUS: BCCI announces Indian cricket team to tour Australia

The BCCI has announced the Indian cricket team for the tour of Australia. The selectors have selected 32 players for all three formats of cricket. The first ODI series will be followed by the T20 series and then the Test series. India will also play a day-night Test match against Australia for the first time on the tour. The tour of India will start after the end of the IPL. In limited-overs cricket on this tour, the team's vice-captain Rohit Sharma is not going due to injury. He has been replaced by KL Rahul as the vice-captain.

Indian Test team - Virat Kohli (captain), Mayank Agarwal, Prithvi Shaw, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Anjkiya Rahane (vice-captain) Hanuma Vihari, Shubhaman Gill, Riddhiman Saha, Rishabh Pant, Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammad Yadav, Mohammad Yadav Saini, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and Mohammad Siraj.

ODI team: Virat Kohli captain, Shikhar Dhawan, Shubhaman Gill, KL Rahul (vice-captain and wicket-keeper), Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Mayank Agarwal, Ravindra Jadeja, Yujvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasham, Jasp Navdeep Saini and Shardul Thakur.

T20 team: Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul (vice-captain and wicketkeeper), Iyer, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Sanju Samson, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, Yujvendra Chahal, Jaspreet Bumrah, , Deepak Chahar, Varun Chakraborty.

The first two ODIs on the Australian tour will be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground on November 27 and 29, followed by the last ODI at the Manuka Oval in Canberra. The first T20 will also be played in Canberra and then the last two T20 matches in Sydney.
