Kohli should be removed as Bangalore captain, Gautam Gambhir's explosive statement after Bangalore defeat

New delhi date. 7. Saturday, November, 2020

Royal Challengers Bangalore have been knocked out of the IPL after losing to Sunrisers Hyderabad. Former India opener Gautam Gambhir has made a big statement about Bangalore captain Virat Kohli.

"If I had been in Bangalore team management, I would have removed Kohli from the captaincy. Because Kohli has been the captain of Bangalore since 2013, but under his leadership, RCB has not won a single IPL trophy so far. I am not against Kohli in any way. Have to perform well.

However, some believe that Gambhir was the captain of Kolkata in the 2013 IPL season and there was a scuffle between Kohli and Gambhir on the field during a match at that time. The umpire had to intervene. Then there was speculation that Gambhir and Kohli were not on good terms.

However, Gambhir has said that there was nothing personal in the altercation. However, both the players were fined for their behavior.
