The hosts' men's netball team has qualified for the semi-finals of the National Games being held in Gujarat for the first time. Gujarat defeated Punjab 57-33 in the final and decisive league match. Along with this, the Gujarat team entered the final four after finishing second in the points table of Group A after Haryana. Now Gujarat's men's team can face Telangana or Delhi in the semi-finals. who entered the final four from Group-B.
In the men's event of netball, Gujarat was defeated by Haryana. However, Gujarat defeated Madhya Pradesh and Punjab. Haryana won all three of their league matches and secured the top spot. The Madhya Pradesh team managed to win against Punjab , though they were knocked out with losses to Gujarat and Haryana. While Punjab were out of the race after losing all three of their league matches.
On the other hand, in Group-B, the match between Telangana and Delhi was tied 46-46. After that, Telangana defeated Kerala and Bihar. While Delhi also defeated Bihar and Kerala. With this, Telangana and Delhi entered the final four. While Kerala and Bihar were thrown out.
Gujarat women's netball team also lost to Delhi in their third match. Losing both the opening matches, Delhi won 61-57 against Gujarat. Thus the women's team of Gujarat and Delhi were thrown out. While Karnataka and Punjab qualified for the last four from Group-B. While in Group A, Haryana won three matches and Bihar won two matches to enter the final four.
