Virat's innings against Pak was like 'God's song', legendary Aussie cricketer becomes Kohli's fan

New Delhi, Dated 29th October 2022 Saturday

As soon as the T20 World Cup started, Virat Kohli has returned to his old form and the opposing teams are now seeing the horror of Kohli's batting.

However, Kohli's innings of 82 runs against Pakistan is being considered as the best innings of T20 cricket. Veteran cricketers are also becoming fans of Kohli.

Australian veteran cricketer and former captain Greg Chappell is so impressed with Kohli's batting against Pakistan that he has labeled this innings of Kohli as Ishwarnu Geet i.e. Song of God.

Chappell said that perhaps no batsman has been able to do the way Kohli did on Sunday without compromising the art of batting.

Chappell wrote in his column in the OC newspaper that Kohli is one of the most perfect batsmen I have ever seen.

Chappell further wrote that, Kohli's innings was like a song of God. Such an innings has never been played in T20 cricket. Like a cat playing a game with a mouse, Kohli first troubled the Pakistani bowlers and then blew up their bowling attack. The format of 20-20 cricket can no longer be dismissed as just for entertainment. Kohli's innings was an innings that showcased the art of batting. No batsman in as much cricket as I have watched has been able to do that.
