Arshdeep along with Renuka Singh and Yastika Bhatia in the race for Emerging Player Award

Along with India's Arshdeep Singh, women cricketers Renuka Singh and Yastika Bhatia have also been named in the race for the ICC Emerging Player of the Year award . The ICC nominated four male players and four female players for its Emerging Player of the Year award . Voting will start from 1st January .

Arshdeep has been nominated for this award only six months after his entry into international cricket . Along with Arshdeep, South Africa's Marco Janssen , New Zealand's Finn Allen and Afghanistan's Ibrahim Zadran are also included .

While India's Renuka Singh and Yastika Bhatia have been nominated in Emerging Women Players . Darcy Brown of Australia and Alice Capsey of England are included with them .

Arshdeep 18 in 21 T-20 International . He took 33 wickets at an average of 12 . While 29-year-old Renuka Singh took 40 wickets in 29 whiteball cricket matches . He scored 14 in ODIs . He got 18 wickets at an average of 88 . 22 year old Yastika Bhatia has 25 . He has scored 376 ODI runs at an average of 06 and his strike rate is 73 . He was 29 .
