Bihar rickshaw puller's son's fortunes change overnight, Delhi Capitals buy Mukesh Kumar for Rs 5.50 crore

A mini auction was held in Kochi yesterday for the 16th season of IPL. In this auction, the fortune of Mukesh Kumar, a brilliant fast bowler living in Gopalganj, Bihar, changed. Mukesh has become a millionaire overnight. The base price of this cricketer from Bihar was 20 lakhs but his luck changed and Delhi Capitals signed him for 5.50 crores.

Mukesh comes from an ordinary family
Mukesh Kumar, a resident of Kakarkund village in Gopalganj, comes from an ordinary family. His late father Kashinath Singh was a rickshaw puller in Kolkata and his mother is a housewife. The reason why Delhi Capitals picked Mukesh is because he is a fast bowler and that is why they have shown confidence in him. His father died due to illness.

After being selected in Delhi Capitals, Mukesh Kumar said that being selected in the IPL team is a big deal for me because it was my father's dream and he wanted to see me play in the IPL.
