Australia has announced the 16-member squad for the upcoming ODI series against India. Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell and Zay Richardson have been included in the squad for the three-match ODI series between India and Australia. Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell and Richardson are all set to make their international comeback after recovering from injury for India's ODI tour after the Test series. The squad also includes David Warner, Ashton and Pat Cummins who have recently returned to Australia. Warner is injured, Ashton Agar went back to playing domestic cricket while captain Pat Cummins went home after the second Test for personal reasons and is likely to return before the third Test.

Marsh and Maxwell had to undergo surgery and will now be seen playing against India in Mumbai, Vizag and Chennai after the ongoing Test campaign. Richardson has also managed to return to international cricket after being injured. A hamstring injury ruled him out of the last few BBL matches and has not played since early January. The 26-year-old has also not played for Australia since the tour of Sri Lanka last year. He has played 36 matches for Australia despite suffering constant injuries.
