Former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has achieved two big feats in the match against Delhi Capitals. Star batsman Virat Kohli created history as he completed 12 runs in the 50th match of IPL 2023. Virat Kohli has become the first batsman to score 7 thousand runs in IPL. He also became the first cricketer to achieve this feat in T20 cricket in a single tournament for a single team. Apart from this, he has also completed 1 thousand runs against Delhi.
Virat Kohli is in tremendous form in IPL 2023
Before the match against Delhi Capitals, Virat Kohli had scored 6988 runs in 233 IPL matches at an average of 36.61. Virat Kohli is in tremendous form in IPL 2023. He has scored 376 runs in 9 matches in the current season. Virat Kohli, the highest run scorer in the IPL, also holds the record for most runs in a season. He scored 973 runs in IPL 2016 which is still a record. Kohli has also scored 5 centuries and 46 fifties in the IPL. Virat's best score is 113. Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman Virat Kohli also completed 1 thousand runs against Delhi Capitals in the match played at Arun Jaitley Stadium yesterday. Virat scored 55 runs in 46 balls with the help of five fours. Virat Kohli also became the first player to complete 1 thousand runs against Delhi Capitals.

Kohli completed 6 thousand runs in IPL 2021
Kohli became the first batsman to complete 6 thousand runs in the T20 league in IPL 2021. He became the second batsman after Suresh Raina to score 5 thousand runs in IPL 2019. Shikhar Dhawan's number comes after Kohli in the list of batsmen who have scored the most runs in IPL. Punjab Kings captain Shikhar Dhawan has scored 6536 runs in 213 matches. David Warner is third with 6189 runs. Warner has played only 172 matches. Rohit Sharma 6063 and Suresh Raina 5528 are fourth and fifth respectively. Raina has now retired from the T20 league.
