The 9th edition of the T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held in West Indies and America. The matches of this tournament will be played for the first time in America. The ICC will take a final decision next month

Places of 15 teams confirmed

West Indies and America got a chance to play as hosts. Thus 12 teams were already decided. Eight teams are now being selected from the qualification round.

Apart from hosts West Indies and USA, India, England, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Netherlands, Ireland, Scotland and Papua New Guinea have confirmed their place in the T20 World Cup so far.
