In his honor, the Indian players took to the field with black armbands tied on their hands. After the toss, BCCI informed about this on X and wrote, 'In the match against England in the ICC Mens Cricket World Cup 2023, Team India will enter the field wearing a black armband in memory of the great Bishan Singh Bedi.'
