Cricket Board Ban 2 Cricketers: A shocking and very embarrassing news has come out from the cricket world in which two cricketers have been caught consuming drugs. These two cricketers have been banned by the board taking strict action.
Cricketers often make mistakes that get punished
Cricket is the second most popular sport in the world after football. Cricket is very much followed in Asia and especially in India. Cricketers entertain fans a lot. But sometimes the cricketers themselves commit some mistakes which are very embarrassing and the player gets punished for it. One such shocking incident has taken place in which two players have been caught taking drugs, due to which the Cricket Board has taken strict action against the players and banned them.
Who are these two players?
Both the banned players are from Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe's Wesley Madhewere and Brandon Mavutua have been caught taking drugs, due to which both players have been banned. Last week, both the players admitted to taking drugs. Due to this, on Thursday, the Zimbabwe Cricket Board (Zimbabwe Cricket Board) has banned both of them for the next 4 months while punishing the players. Now Wesley Madhavare and Brandon Mavutua will not be seen playing international cricket for the next 4 months.
The player himself confessed
In December last year, an in-house dope test revealed that the two players had consumed drugs, so a 50 per cent fee was deducted from their salaries in January 2024 as punishment. Regarding this, the Cricket Board said that 'taking drugs is like defaming cricket. Both will be punished for this reason.' Wesley Madhware and Brandon Mavutua have also repented for taking drugs and are working to clean up the system. The players also say that they will never take drugs after today.
