IND vs ENG 2nd Test : Shreyas Iyer took a terrific catch on the second day of the second Test match being played against England. Iyer took a catch from Zach Crowley and brought him to the pavilion. Iyer ran backwards and took the catch which is being discussed all around. The video of Shreyas Iyer's catch is also going viral on social media.
Akshar Patel brought success to India
All-rounder Akshar Patel trapped Crowley in his spin trap on the third ball of the 23rd over. Crawley was trying to get a shot in the air by moving on to a full length ball in the off stump line. However, the ball spun slightly outwards, due to which Crowley was unable to play the shot properly. The ball hit the edge of the bat towards backward point, where Iyer was fielding. Iyer quickly ran backwards and dived to take a difficult catch.
The England team closed on the score of 253
Let it be known that Yashaswi Jaiswal from India scored 209 runs with great batting. Jaiswal's double century helped the Indian team reach a score of 396 runs. The England team also started the first innings brilliantly. Crowley and Duckett put on a 59-run partnership for the first wicket. Duckett was dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav in the 11th over to give India their first breakthrough. Bumrah gave India a big wicket by dismissing Joe Root in the 26th over. The England team was bundled out for 253 runs.
