Ravichandran Ashwin : In the fourth match of the 5-match Test series between India and England, Ravichandran Ashwin, the star spinner of the Indian team, has created history. Ashwin completed 350 Test wickets in India as he dismissed Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope in two balls in England's second innings. Ashwin has taken a total of 351 wickets in India. Ashwin has now become the world's third highest wicket-taker in Tests at home, surpassing former Indian spinner Anil Kumble.
Ashwin broke Kumble's record
Anil Kumble took a total of 350 wickets in his Test career in India. Kumble played 115 Tests in India and took a total of 350 wickets. While in the second innings of England, Ashwin took 2 wickets in two consecutive balls and took a total of 351 wickets. Now Ashwin has become India's highest wicket-taker in Tests. Apart from this, Harbhajan Singh managed to take 265 wickets in his Test career in India. Apart from this, Kapil Dev succeeded in taking a total of 219 wickets in the Tests played in India.
