Indian cricket team announcement for ODI and T20 series against Australia

Indian Women Cricket Team: The Women's Selection Committee has announced the Indian Women's Cricket Team for the three-match ODI and T20 International series against Australia starting this week. Harmanpreet Kaur will be the captain of the ODI and T20 international teams. The ODI series will start from December 28, followed by the three-match T20 series.

16 member squad each for ODI and T20 series

BCCI has selected 16 member squads each for ODI and T20 series. Only two players from the squad selected for the ODI series have not been selected for the T20 series, while the other two players have been included in the T20 squad. Sneh Rana and Harleen Deol have been included in the ODI squad. While he did not get a place in the T20 team. In his place, Kanika Ahuja and Minnu Mani have got a chance in the T20 team.

ODI Team: Harmanpreet Kaur (captain), Smriti Mandhana (vice-captain), Jemima Rodrigues, Shefali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Yastika Bhatia (wicketkeeper), Richa Ghosh (wicketkeeper), Amanjot Kaur, Shreyanka Patil, Mannat Kashyap, Seka Ishaq, Renuka Singh Thakur, Titas Sadhu, Pooja Vastrakar, Sneh Rana and Harleen Deol have been included.

T20 Team: Harmanpreet Kaur (captain), Smriti Mandhana (vice-captain), Jemima Rodrigues, Shefali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Yastika Bhatia (wicketkeeper), Richa Ghosh (wicketkeeper), Amanjot Kaur, Shreyanka Patil, Mannat Kashyap, Seka Ishaq, Renuka Singh Thakur, Titas Sadhu, Pooja Vastrakar, Kanika Ahuja and Minnu Mani have been selected.

The three-match ODI international series will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and will begin on 28th December 2023. Two ODIs will be played on 30 December 2023 and 2 January 2024 respectively. After that action DY Patil will shift to new Mumbai. Three T20 international matches will be played in Navi Mumbai on 5, 7 and 9 January 2024 respectively.
