In the Emerging Asia Cup, India-A beat Pakistan-A to register their third consecutive win in the tournament. They beat Pakistan-A by 8 wickets in Colombo. Under the captaincy of Yash Dhul, the India A youth team has won its sixth consecutive match. India had earlier defeated UAE and Nepal in the group round.
Great win for India
India A beat Pakistan A to register their third consecutive win in Group B of the Emerging Asia Cup. He did not lose a single match in the group stage. Team India is at the first position in the points table with this win. He has six points in three games. Along with this, Pakistan has faced its first defeat. He now has four points in three games. Nepal is third in Group B with two points. Along with this, the UAE team could not win a single match. India have confirmed their place in the semi-finals by defeating Pakistan. They will face Bangladesh on July 21. Meanwhile, in the other semi-final, the Pakistan team will face Sri Lanka on the same day.
Sai Sudarshan scored a brilliant century
Pakistan captain Mohammad Haris won the toss and decided to bat first in the match. His team was bundled out for 205 runs in 48 overs. In response, Team India scored 210 runs for two wickets in 36.4 overs and won the match. Sai Sudarshan scored a brilliant century for Team India. He was unbeaten on 104 off 110 balls. Sudarshan hit 10 fours and three sixes in his innings. Nikin Jose played an innings of 53 runs off 64 balls. He hit seven fours. Abhishek Sharma was dismissed after scoring 20 runs. Captain Yash Dhul remained unbeaten scoring 21 runs. For Pakistan, Mubasir Khan and Mehran Mumtaz took one wicket each.
Rajvardhan Hungergakar took five wickets
Before this Pakistan team could not even play full 50 overs. Hungergakar first dismissed Mohammad Wasim Jr in his eighth over. He scored eight runs in seven balls. Nikin Jose caught him. After this, Hungergakar had Dahani caught by Dhruv Jurel. Dahani scored four runs. After dismissing Dahani, Hungergakar completed his five runs in the match and dismissed Pakistan with two overs to spare. Qasim Akram was the highest scorer for Pakistan with 48 runs. Shahibzada contributed 35 runs. In the end, Mubasir scored 28 runs and Mehr scored 25 runs. Manav Suther took three wickets in addition to Hungergakar's five wickets for India. Ryan Parag and Nishant Sindhu got one wicket each.
